Sandy asks…Vinyl siding or old block, what house is worth more?I have a large 2 story home that has a block outer layer, with about a 2 inch gap then wood, then frame. The block is pretty deteriorated in several spots. We are arguing whether to repair the block/brick and paint, or tear down the block/brick outer layer and vinyl side the wooden home found inside this block layer.
