Your Questions About Fake Brick Wall

Jenny asks…How do I take off fake brick?I have on two separate walls, my fireplace in between the two walls. They put the fake brick to blend in with the real brick on the fireplace. This isn't a paint over the brick project. I want my wall to be flat like the rest of the walls. Parts of the fake brick have chipped off. Please help, don't know what the brick is made of.
